Ruffhouse Jiu Jitsu’s Adult Team takes 4th & Kid’s Team takes 6th!

The 2010 AZ State Championship was a weekend of excitement for both the Kid’s and Adult’s Ruffhouse Teams. On Saturday June 26^th our kid competitors worked hard earning 6^th place. Sunday, the adult competitors won a total of 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 14 Bronze medals that combined into a 4^th place team award! Congrats to all the competitors and the team’s newly promoted Brown Belt Gerson and newly promoted Blue Belt Emily!

Ruffhouse Kids Competition Team Wins 2010 2nd Annual Kids Cup Tournament

Arizona’s 2^nd Annual Kids Cup Tournament took place on April 24^thin Mesa, AZ. Ruffhouse’s Kids Competition Team participated. The kids team brought home 6 Gold, 8 Silver and 2 Bronze medals! The 16 medals earned a total of 80 team points allowing the team to take 1^st place and winning their second tournament in 6 months.

Carlson Gracie Jr. will be coming August 7 at 11am for a seminar.

The cost for the seminar will be $50.00 until July 16. On the 16th the price will be $70 until July 23th. From the 23rd to the July 30 is $90.00 after that until the day of the seminar will be $100.00.

Kid’s Take First Place at the Southwest Classic

We took first place at the kids division. Congratulations for Gerson, Alicia, Alex and Vince for the great work with the kids.
We also took third at the adult division. Congratulations for Jay and Gerson for the great work with the adults. Special thanks for Nathan, Juan, Marcos and Nana for the first place at the tournament and for all the guys that compete this past weekend. Bringing the Ruffhouse Team Arizona together for this tournament was a great success and congratulations to all our affiliations.
I would like to invite everyone from Ruffhouse Team to my training camping October 24 and 25 at the Mesa location. We will have a trophy picture at the camp.
